Horace Arthur Rose quoted this subcaste belong to King Luv who ruled Punjab region and was son of King Ramchandra of Ayodhya. GovindrajaI Chauhan joined his family and other Chauhan Families at Auroor (Rohri-Sindh) and lived in Chhaho Labano Tanda (Village) in present day Tehsel Lakhi Ghulam Shah, District Shikarpure, Sindh-Pakistan and called himself as Govindraja Labana along with all also called themselves as Labana. Govindraja Labana (Chauhan) had one son named Viram Labana (Chauhan) after deat of his father Viram Labana (Chauhan) converted in Islam by given name Viryam Khan Labana in 1218. Viryam Khan Labana had a son name Jam Khan Labana later his familay called by Jam Family. Jam Khan Labana family also famous with the name of Madoo and called by Madoo Pawar of Labana (Cahuhan). Prithviraja-III Chauhan other son named Ramdev Chauhan who migrated with the first caravan setteled along with his family and some other Chauhan family in Tulamba present day Tulamba Town, Tehsel Mian Channu, District Khanewal-Punjab. Ramdev Chauhan and family ruled in Tulamba till Sher Shah Suri era. Ramdev Chauhan family called as Sahoo Panwar-Chauhan. The famous Islamic scholar Mulana Tariq Jameel Belongs to his family.
