SA-179

Covers electric resistance welded tubesmade of carbon steel and intended for use as boiler tubes, boiler flues, superheater flues, and safe ends. The tubing sizes and thicknesses usuallyfurnished to this specification are ½ in. to 5.in. O.D. and 0.035 in. to 0.320 in. inclusive in minimum wall thickness.
