if the miles on the engine aren't too high, then just replace the head gaskets. if the whole engine is tired go ahead and swap out the motor. its a lot cheaper to do the gaskets then to buy a new motor.

First you need to know if they are both the same, they made a single over head cam and also made a duel over head cam motor! What ever you are putting must match the one coming out, unless you swap the head. Now if you are working on a automatic and the car you are taking the motor out of is a 5sp. you will need to swap computers too. Other than that, yes they will swap.

yes it will, you will need to change some of the wiring. but it will bolt right up. Answer 2: if your gonna do a motor swap on a tercel you should def go for the 5 and not the 4. the 92 prolly has that 3ee in it... the 4 is a nice swap but it has problems. the 5 is a better swap because when they made it they had the 4 idea but mixed it witha little bit of the 3ee and there for fixed the problems that the 4 had making the 5 a much better motor to swap... i recomend that if anyone does a swap they should go for the 5....

b20 comes from a crv and to make it a B20vtec u have to swap out the stock head with a vtec from another b series motor

Yes you can but why would you swap that motor in? If you are already doing the work might as well throw the better more reliable 3.2/3.5 in and save yourself a headache in long run. The 2.7 mitsu motor is not a very good motor, especially compared to its bigger stronger brothers.
