It depends on the type of juice. some juices are clear solutions or filtered to become clear. Others are mixtures. Shaking clear juices like grape juice, apple juice or cider will get air bubbles mixed in that will disappear after a moment and the apple juice will be just like before it was shaken. Juices like tomato, orange and pineapple juice will eventually have the undissolved solids settle to the bottom. It is important to shake it (hopefully in a closed container) to bring it to its drinkable form. Unfiltered apple juice, if settled, may also need to be shaken.
