There are several forms of communicating. Assertive communication is a communication style that shows you respect yourself as well as the other person by standing up for your interests, while expressing your thoughts and feelings on a topic.

Assertive language is the way person with assertive attitude/personality speaks/behaves. Different schools define 'assertive' in different ways. The way I use says 'assertive language' is wherein there is strict adherence to laws, discipline, rules and regulations.
