Then Arachne told her not knowing that she was Athena said that to tell Athena to come compete against her to see who was better so then Athena took off her disguise and told her angerly to compete to see who was truly best. Athena made a beautiful cover made woven while Arachne made a cover making fun of Zeus and the wife's she then tour apart the cover and turned Arachne into a spider, she then told her that she will weave for the rest of her life as a spider.
