Bacteria actually have got a lot to do with farts, as they are what cause flatulence. When too much bacteria is present in the digestive system, the gas that they create when digesting foods builds up and causes you to pass gas.

What do unicorn farts smell like?

Unicorn farts as commonly known smell like honey, wildflowers, and dead/decomposed unicorns because contrary to popular belief unicorns are actually dangerous cannibalistic omnivores (they also eat the rare Unicorn Apple). The honey and wildflower scents that also come from the scent of unicorn farts are because of the special digestive enzymes/bacteria that are in a unicorns digestive tract. These enzymes and bacteria are the organisms that produce gas (from digesting the unicorn meat and sometimes that Unicorn Apples that the unicorns have cannibalized/eaten) that make up farts. Basically, unicorn farts are a mix if the diet of a unicorn and the smaller farts of the digestive enzymes/bacteria.

What give farts a bad smell?

The odor of farts comes from small amounts of hydrogen sulfide gas and mercaptans in the mixture. These compounds contain sulfur. Nitrogen-rich compounds such as skatole and indole also add to the stench of farts. The more sulfur-rich your diet, the more sulfides and mercaptans will be produced by the bacteria in your guts, and the more your farts will stink. Foods such as cauliflower, eggs and meat are notorious for producing smelly farts, whereas beans produce large amounts of not particularly stinky farts.

How farts work?

Gas, known as flatus, is produced by the bacteria in the large intestine. when the gas is expelled through the anus, this is flatulence.

When were farts invented?

Passing gas is a natural part of the digestive system. They weren't 'made' or 'invented,' they occur naturally. They have been around since early bacteria started breaking things down. Think about it. The little holes in bread are made by yeast farts. The bubbles in beer is made up of yeast farts.
