Condensor is overloading. Had the same problem last year.
number of things. you could have a bad condenser fan motor. bad contactor or a bad run cap for the condenser fan motor.
the motor is going out it has freon in it but the motor is shot
needs oil..
Heatstrips could be on with ac
the air conditioner shouldn't have anything to do with it. there could be a problem with your tires or your driving or your kid could be jumping on the seat
Could it be because an air conditioner is not designed to produce heat?
There are quite a few reasons why an air conditioner could be running but not cooling. One should first check the Freon lines and ensure that there is an adequate amount of Freon available.
TRY THE AIRCONDITIONING BELT
It could be that you A/C is running low on fluid.
Could be nothing more than a bad fuse Could be a bad blower motor Could be a bad switch
Airflow improperly set (too high) or the most common undersized ducts.
You could probably run it, but you'll never START it, even if you remove the safety interlock that makes sure it wont start unless the indoor air handler portion is already running.
