The strengths and weaknesses of empires by dominance is the strength of gaining wealth and power by dominating the productive farmlands and profitable trade routes of West Asia, and having well organized brutality tactics to conquered peoples to prevent future rebellions. The weakness is the they were so hated that they had some of people who were tortured form allies and went against them and formed a massive assault against them which shattered the Assyrian empire.
