Mount St Helens is a Composite Cone Volcano (meaning it is infrequent yet violent) and Kilauea is a Shield Volcano (meaning it is not violent). A shield volcano is widely spread between two continental crust though Kilauea is on a hot spot. Meaning it is in the middle of a plate. Composite Cone Volcanos are located between oceanic plates and continental crusts.
Bouth Mount St. Helens and Kilaeua are active volcanoes in the United States. Aside from that they are very different.
Kilauea in Hawaii has been erupting continuously since 1983.
Yes. There are a number of them including Mauna Loa and Kilauea in Hawaii, Mount St. Helens in Washington, and Mount Cleveland and Mount Redoubt in Alaska. Kilauea is one of the most active volcanoes in the world and has been erupting continuously since 1983.
An example of a "quiet" eruption would be the 1983-present eruption of Kilauea in Hawaii. A violent eruption would be the 1980 eruption of Mount St Helens.
All volcanoes like active volcano(eg. mt fuji, mt st helens,mt mayon,mt pinatubo, etc.) and dormant volcano (eg. mt rainer in USA) are dangerous they might erupt any moment.
With enough warning the population can be evacuated. Emergency response can be set up. There may be nothing to do to stop it but there are many things that can be done to prepare. Mount st. Helens is a good example
they are both volcanoes, and active.
Yes, both are active.
Kilauea in Hawaii, Mt St. Helens, Yellowstone.....there are lots.

No, not by any definition. If you define the "youngest volcano" by "most recently erupted", then that honor goes to Kilauea, which has been erupting non-stop since 1983. Mount St. Helens last "erupted" in early 2008 when steam escaped from a fracture in the lava dome.
it is in the north west of England between Manchester and Liverpool . you might of heard of st helens rugby league .
It is 89 miles taking the M6 to The NORTH WEST to A580 ST. HELENS (at J23), and then taking A580 to ST. HELENS.
Like most stratovolcanoes, Mount St Helens alternates between explosive and effusive eruptions.
