The language used in Eastenders
includes the many accents and dialects of
English spoken in the British Isles.
However the language in E20 is more
localized and connects better with the youth of today
because of the migration of immigrants who
have in turn influenced the speech of young Londoners
This is reflected in E20 and the script writers have obviously been doing
much research into the street talk of teenagers
They use this mainly Jamaican influenced English
