The four main parts of a flower are its four floral whorls: gynoecium, androecium, calyx and corolla... Gynoecium is the female part consisting of the carpel( ovary and ovules), androcium is the male part comprising of the stamens, calyx consists of the sepals which are the green leaves that enclose the petals in a bud and corolla consists of the petals, the showy attractive colourful leaves.

To hold upright the plant

Transport of fluids between the roots and the shoots in the xylem and phloem

To store nutrients

To create new living tissue.
