I am not aware on any studies particular to this question (although there may be). Still, in my class (college level), cells phone are to be either turned off, or placed on vibrate. Thus, I do not recognize any performence difference within the classroom setting. However, too much of anything can interfere with an individuals everyday performance on a number of levels. I am a firm believer of, "everything in moderation."
Student do not concentrate on their studies
Here are the main problems of cellphone usage:
As Viper has said, "everything in moderation" -- turn off the phone and interact with the real world!
Cellphone addiction can lead to distractions, reduced attention span, and poor time management, all of which can negatively impact academic grades. Excessive use of cellphones can disrupt studying habits, leading to decreased focus and productivity in schoolwork.
it can make ur grades lower if you are so addicted that you may not get the sleep u need before a test, you are focused on ur cellphone rather than the information you are studying, and if you dont concentrate on your studies because of your addiction
If students are concentrating on their cell phone, texting, etc., they cannot concentrate on the lecture. As a college students, I have zero tolerance for cell phone use in my classes.
Well if you spend all your time texting during lectures, you're not going to learn as much as you could

Scholastic performance refers to a student's academic achievements and abilities, typically measured by grades, test scores, and other academic evaluations. It reflects a student's comprehension, retention, and application of knowledge in various subjects or disciplines.
Indiscipline behavior can negatively impact academic achievement by causing disruptions in the learning environment, leading to distractions for other students and reduced instructional time. It can also result in missed assignments, poor grades, and ultimately lower academic performance. Additionally, students who exhibit indiscipline behavior may face disciplinary actions that could further hinder their academic progress.
Academic achievement refers to the successful completion of educational goals or tasks, such as earning good grades, finishing degrees, or performing well on standardized tests. It can also include demonstrating knowledge and skills gained through learning.
A record of a student's academic performance is called a transcript. It typically includes grades earned in courses, credits completed, GPA, and sometimes additional information such as extracurricular activities or disciplinary actions. Transcripts are often requested for college applications, job applications, and other purposes that require proof of a student's educational background.
Grades are one good indication of your academic achievement, but they should be looked at in context and in combination with other things, such as testing scores. Overall progress in grades is a more important indicator of achievement than a composite grade.
computer games can get students addicted and it can affect there grades and social life.It is very bad.At first you wont get addicted but then after a couple days the addiction kicks in and your life gets ruined.
I'm not positive what you mean, but as long as you have the knowledge and skill, age and academic grades do not matter.
If your grades drop, it will hurt your eligibility for an academic scholarship.
No, it's not an academic honor. Its definitely a good thing, but not academic. If you have bad grades but were the SG Pres., you wouldn't get into a good college or grad school.
Provided that you study hard and get good grades, I will buy you the cellphone that you've always wanted.
A way into a school for free for having good academic grades.
Usually someone looks up grades by reading a transcript. This could be described as reviewing ones academic history.
