The office of apostle is the greek word apostolos meaning a sent messenger specially commissioned with orders , delegated with Power, and legislative, executive, and judicial authority of the Sender (Christ Himself).
This is very important that believers find their gifts and callings because all are not called to be Apostles but all are called to be Disciples( students or learners of a teacher) of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:28-29-And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
