What are the different between red blood and white blood cells?

Red blood cells keep you alive by carrying oxygen to other cells in the body and they carry carbon dioxide away from the cells of the body. White blood cells help the body fight infection, kill germs, bacteria and dead blood cells. They also fight pathogens.

∙ 10y agoWhite blood cells are the one that protects you from harmful cells, viruses etc. They are (you can say) the army of the Immune System.(AIDS: The HIV Virus attacks your immune system, so that is why it was called: Acquired Immuno Deficiency syndrome. It is not the most scariest, it's the diseases that you will likey be impossivle to get, but no you got it part the is the most scariest part(meaning no defense against the harmful cells) and red blood cells carry oxygen in your blood(*Red blood cells don't have cell nucleus).

1. Red blood cells (RBCs) contain haemoglobin where white blood cells (WBCs) don't.
2. WBCs have a nucleus whereas RBCs don't.
3. RBCs have a biconcave shape whereas WBCs don't
4. RBCs are involved in the transport of oxygen whereas WBCs are involved in immunity.
