First, effective 360 feedback systems should be linked to an organization's leadership competency model. In turn, this competency model should be linked to the organization's mission, vision, and strategy. In this way you can ensure the leader behaviors you are reinforcing are linked to the success of your organization. Second, 360 feedback should be used for developmental purposes only. If you use 360 feedback for evaluative purposes, people may game the system by giving their friends high ratings in return for high ratings from their friends, or people may be incentivized to give their peers low ratings to look better by comparison. Third, 360 feedback should be coupled with action planning, coaching, and training to support those leaders going through the program. Nothing is more demoralizing than getting feedback that you need to improve upon a skill and having no idea how to go about developing that skill, so leaders should be provided with ample support once they have received their feedback report. Finally, be sure to be open and honest when designing and communicating the purpose of the program. Participation from all ranks in the organization during the planning phase will not only increase buy in and participation in the program, it will increase the quality of the tool as well.

How do you make an effective knock out gas?

You get a bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, and then you follow the instructions provided by someone who has a Ph.D. in one of those sciences, who is himself following instructions provided by someone with a degree in pharmacology. If you want to actually administer it, you should have a medical science degree and a specialization in anesthesiology, because otherwise you'll either not knock the person out (if the mix is too lean) or kill them (if it's too rich). There is no such thing as a safe, effective "knock out gas" that you can just casually dump into the air and have people harmlessly keel over.

When it's a warm sunny day suggest which factor is limiting the rate of photosynthesis in the middle of a crop?

The beauty of biology or biochemical systems is that they have regulatory mechanisms in it to avoid excessive synthesis of a product or production when it is not required. Most of the biochemical enzymes are controlled by its "feedback inhibition", when there is surplus amount of product is around (Hexokinase as an example). So for plants or crops, it is not an issue whether the day is 16 or 25 degree sunny day, they carry out the photosynthesis by up taking the required light energy or technically speaks, photons!

Unfortunately, 360 degree feedback surveys doesn't work: They return results with inaccuracy, they lack of relevancy, they are poorly planned, uncoordinated and there is no involvement. So it's better to give up on the new 360 degree feedback plan for 2012.
