You should never, ever trust a system that can't be direct and look you in the face. They will lie to you in a hot second.
You can trust a direct on to tell you the truth. You might disagree, but you can still trust them., and that's pretty cool!
Hi, I'ts me
indirect cold water systems usually have an intermediate stop, and possibly plane changes. The main problems with these stops or lay-overs is that half the water gets off to go take a leak, or even refill with something not necessarily "water-ish". Just look at what happened in Michigan, Mississippi, and quite a few other places. The water got so unruly, it wasn't even allowed back on the plane! That wasn't too cool!
Now, on the udder hand (Love dem cows!) with a direct flight, what goes in, comes out. No layovers, stop-overs, flight changes, or new passengers with C-19. The stewies know if the water is getting drunk, and so they control the alcohol.
Ya' never know where your water's been!
direct cold water supply? To what? For what purpose? This question can not be answered. The question is incomplete.
Please and use for water
location of water use
amount and discretion of use
the difference are as follows. the direct water supply comes from the outside main water supply directly into the sink. the indirect water supply has mains cold water collected in a cistern which in turn supplies water to the sink.
A direct cold water system is basically cold water goes directly to the operating system.Advantages:1) The water is cold2) The water is very directDisadvantages:1) The water is too cold2) The water is too direct
If you are referring to a regular building, the cold water feed pipe goes directly to all cold faucets, toilets and hot water tank. The purpose seems obvious.
Fit a non return valve to the hot supply (nrv) . If the cold supply is direct (it shouldn,t be) fit a double check (double nrv) to the cold also.

Someone hooked up the hot water supply to the toilet instead of the cold water supply- or your water heater is back drawing hot water through to the toilet from a cold water inlet (supply)
Hot water only. Even though the heating element will heat the water, it will take much longer to reach a good washing temperature. You will over work the heating element and eventually burn out.
The cold water supply enters the tank at the bottom near the burner. Heat rises, as does hot water. The hot water supply is piped out from the top.
water regulation require that cold water supply pipe from the cwsc to tap outlets and the hot water storage vessel be isolated, with what
Vent - Cold Water Supply - Drainage - hot water supply /return
on internal cold water supply pipework is wrong answer
All dishwashers in the US are hooked up to a hot water supply line only. Cold water does nothing for cleaning dishes.
