There are two types, Herpes Simplex-1, which is generally found in the lips, mouth and throat, and Herpes Simplex-2, which is mostly found on the genitals.

Herpes covers a wide range of diseases, though. For example, Mononucleosis is caused by the Epstein-Barr virus, which is a type of Herpes virus. But it isn't the same as genital or oral herpes, it's just called that because it stays in the body forever after you get it.

On the mouth, herpes sores are called cold sores or fever blisters.

there arent many STREET NAMES for genital herpes but it is often refered to as HSV2. Herpes, and genital herpes those are the only names i am aware of :)
