Food webs, which are the sequence of events in an ecosystem where one organism eats another organism and then is eaten by another organism, exist all across the earth in any habitat. An example would be a fish that eats plankton and is eaten by seals which are then eaten by sharks.
a food web is a bunch of food chains combined because an animal crosses over to eat another in the other food chain. for example a sea star eats mussels, so that's in one food chain, but it also eats barnacle's, that's in another food chain so you have one arrow pointing from the sea star to the mussel and another pointing to the barnacle.
Worm --> Bird --> Cat --> Hawk --> Lion
A Lion is the end of the food chain as the Lions are too fast and vicious to have any predators. The only time a Lion will get eaten is when its already dead.
