This "Blood sucking butterfly" is actual a moth, it has lime green wings, silver nose and a transparent thorax. It is called the "Madrilenial butterfly" from Mexico. It doesen't actually suck your blood unless, your a dead carcass rotting on the ground. It "drinks" the blood from dead rabbits, dogs, cats, and other common animals.
This depends on the solution you add the blood to in an isotonic solution the blood is opaque. In a hypo-tonic solution the blood is completely transparent. In a hyper-tonic solution the blood is virtually opaque however does allow some light through.
