The Tibetan antelopes of Hol Xil ( a wildlife reserve in Northwestern China) have been endangered since the 1970s. Excessive poaching has caused their rapid decline. In the past 10 years, their population has increased from less than 20,000 to 60,000, and is still steadily growing.
