NO, he was not.
First, the Muslim Brotherhood is opposed to Freemasonry. Muslim Brothers have attacked and destroyed Masonic Lodges in Egypt and several other countries. Second, if Khomeini was a British agent, he was the worst kind of agent in that he toppled a pro-British regime and replaced it with a regime categorically opposed to all British interests. Khomeini was also opposed to Freemasons, effectively hunting them out of the country. Khomeini also opposed the Muslim Brotherhood since the latter was a Sunni Islamist organization as opposed to a Shiite Islamist organization; this led directly to the creation of Hezbollah to be a Shiite option in the Islamist Militant sphere.
