Rear tire on 2000 Pontiac sunfire I can't get the tire and rim off the car it won't budge?

Well, I guess you could take a mallet to the inside of the offending wheel, but there's a good chance that it wouldn't work and that you would damage the tire or rim.
Put the lug nuts back on and drive to your local tire shop. I'm sure
they'll be happy to help you.
