My truck is a Mazda b2300 1994 and I think my Transmission is going out because I have power in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear and not very much power in 4th and 5th gear...could this be a problem in the engine (it's a standard)?

Yes that does not sound like transmission issue to me. that is usually shown by trouble changing gears.
