With a balancer puller tool. With a balancer puller tool.
a 6 INCH.
Look at your harmonic balancer the 1 on the 350 is bigger than the 1 on the 327.
4 degrees btc-before top dead center with the vacuum spark line disconnected.the timing mark location is on the harmonic balancer. this is for a 327 engine
assuming the crank is out, cool it in the freezer and warm the balancer ,the balancer should slip on. be careful ! I have not done this with a crank and balancer, but it works well in other applications. ie.sleeves in blocks.
usually
The 265, 283, and early 327's, did not have one. EVERYTHING after 69 had one. I have heard of them comming out, but, not usually without catastrophic damage to the radiator. Who ever assembled it, could have forgotten to put it in, as the harmonic balancer, presses on pretty tight.
NO. It is a 325 cubic inch engine. Not a 327
Chevy still has NOT reproduced the 327 CID engine. It is NOT used anymore. Alot of people call the 5.3L smallblock chevy a 327 and it is NOT a 327. It is a 325 CID / Cubic inch desplacement engine and that is 2 cubic inches smaller then a 327 engine. That is NOT much but it still is not a 327
What's the price range to rebuild a Chevy 327 engine
1962 was the year the 327 was introduced.
