No. Tap water contains contaminants and pharmaceuticals and is delivered to the consumer through pipes that often contain lead and copper. Purified water must test 100% pure by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is delivered to the consumer in sanitized bottles.
I believe so. Tap water isn't as filtered or purified as bottle water is.
As far as your health, tap and bottled water is the same. One is not better than the other. Many brands of bottled water is actually tap water that has been bottled. It is a personal preference as to which is best.
It all depends on what you mean. Tap water has more salt than purified water but purified water can hold more salt if salt is added. There is more room, so to speak, for the salt ions to fit into a container.
tap water will make your plants grow faster because it contains ions such as magnesium iron gases calcium carbonate and minerals. There is some purified water that will also make your plant grow only if it says it has minerals and if it doesnt its better to use tap water and its cheaper too.
Tap water is better since it is chlorinated before supplying to the pipe line, where as the bottled water is simply purified, packed in bottle and reaches the consumer may be after l5/20 days, when the purity ratio subsides. It is also true that tap water is also not 100% germ free for which boiling is the best option.
the word purified. to be made pure... to be cleared of all imperfections. EX: tap water has imperfections, purified water, is PURE water. its all in the root words my friend.
There is said to be bacterias in tap water, but if there was really a problem wouldn't there be a bunch of sick people from drinking their tap water? Bottled water is purified, but while the price of a water bottle is about $1.30, the same amount of tap water costs about .5 cents.
It is best to use city water as well water could be dirty. Well water does have natural minerals though and I believe city water is recycled and has certain chemicals in it.(please do tell me if I am wrong though.)anyway I believe well water is better but you should have it tested (certain underground water has worse poisons)
Distilled water means purified and clean. It is used to instead of tap water because in tap water there can be dirt and particles that can be a contaminating if put on a swab and used in the human body.
Tap water because their are more minerals getting into the tap water unlike rain water, and bottled water.
Salt in a water solution will LOWER the Freezing Point of the resultant solution. Therefore the Saltwater will have to be cooled to a lower temperature. All other things being equal, that should take longer than the plain tap water.
They are not better than tap water, they are basically equal in nutrients. People just think its unhealthy due to those misleading commercials. Water bottles < Tap Water Why? Water bottles = $$$$ Tap Water = $
