Well, you can call Sunderland AFC catholic not only because many of the fan base are Catholic but also because of Roy Kean and Martin O'Neil's connections. James McClean's Poppy incident brought me here and in itself is another piece of evidence supporting the theory.
In England, Everton is possibly the most Catholic club in the Premier League. Many observers also include Arsenal and Man Utd in the list but to all intents and purposes they are no way as conspicuous and naked about it as Celtic in Glasgow.
