∙ 11y agoNo, Osage Orange is not poisonous. You can have a reaction to any wood. I have been making and selling wooden cooking utensils made out of Osage Orange for 10 years now. My wife and I have been using them in our kitchen to cook and have never had a reaction to cooking with them. The military uniforms of world war 11 were dyed in Osage. There is not a lot of research at the present time on this wonderful wood. It really is an amazing wood.
