I drink water with the juice of a lemon whenever I can as the lemon aids the liver in detoxifying the body. Also, the nutrients of the lemon (vitamin C, etc.) are beneficial for the body also. I like to eat the white part of the rind which contains rutin to help strengthen the vascular walls. However, as an avid researcher, I did read of the high bacteria content of lemons found in restaurants. I also believe in the actual power of prayer so I bless my food and enjoy and rarely get sick!

No, not really. Lemon water in itself isn't based on how hot it is or what you put into it, but more about your body getting hydrated. Water is anabolic, which means that when your body is in a hydrated state it stimulates fat loss better.
