yes that is totally normal, but not until later in your pregnancy.
That could most likely just be the stretching of your stomach and you aren't used to the feel of that
If you have pain below your belly button and just above your groin, you could be either pregnant (pregnancy discomfort) or growing some cancer (testicular cancer for men).
They are located on top of the kidneys and normally are slightly above the belly button (navel). But there is tremendous variation in where a normal belly button is located on the abdominal wall.
It would depend upon how far you are into your pregnancy. The uterus will slowly grow in size and that is the hardness that you are feeling. As the uterus grows larger it will move further up into your abdomen and your entire stomach will soon be hard just the same! Good luck!
