This is Jatt surname, found also under ahluwalia gotra. Some nagi also refer themselevs from misl Ramgarhia.

NAGI Caste is pure Kshatriya and High Caste but now founded in Ramgarhias, Rajpoots, Ahluwalias etc. and they are founded in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, USA, UK, Russia, Hungry and in many other countries. Imre Nagy was a President of Hungry. The reason is given below.

From 29th generation of king shavi (Shavi means Lord Shiva) was Takshak one of 6 sons of king Sototi. Nagis are from lineage of Takshak. He was ruler of Delhi then known as Khandoban (Khandva Forests). Pandvas wanted to make Delhi (Inderprastha) as their capital which Takshak objected, But he was defeated in war with Pandvas. He and his people were rendered homeless by Pandvas and Lord Krishna. Their houses were burnt and Takshaks wife was also killed who was then in Kurukshtra.

They went away to settled in Texla. Founded this city. Takshak sided with Kaurvas in the war of Mahabharat because of misdeeds of PANDVAS. Pandavs were also not considered good people. Later he killed Parikshit grand son of Arjun. Then they were again massacred there and left texila went to Russia. Takshak founded the city of Tashkant there and settled there.

Today Nagis are flourishing in many countries since decades not knowing their roots. But in India because of being in minority They have joined many missals.
