Nortenos wear the color red to show their affiliation to the Blood Alliance, their biggest rivals are gangs under the Mexican Mafia(Surenos, Ms-13 & Eighteen Street) & gangs under the Crip Alliance(Crips & Hoover Criminals).
*Gangs don't really trip over colors too much anymore, Nortenos can wear blue clothing just not blue bandanas.
*Surenos DON'T wear the color blue their actual gang colors are brown and white...and they can wear red clothing if they want just not red bandanas.
