Right after I graduated college, I started working as an engineer, I got paid a little more than $5,100 a month, plus a $4,000-8,000 bonus at the end of the year (Usually around $5,000). In total, it comes out to $65,599.96 on an average year, and $70,000 on a good year (more was possible based on company-wide sales). If you look at is as "How much does an engineer make every day", then you have to look at in the following way. In a year, there are 52 weeks and 40 hours of work per week, this comes out to from $31.54 to $33.50 an hour. If you want to know daily, then just multiply by 8. For me, it was something between $252 and $268 per day. That is, before tax of course. Like I said though, this was an entry level job. Hope this helped.
