i think it shoule be one bathroom per person (witht he exception of a marrie couple in a house, they share one), plus one more for guests, but in reality there usually ends up being one bathroom for the kids and one bathroom for the parents, with the occasional guest bathroom or the child who ends up having one in his/her bedroom.
