Depends on what the "mix" is.
There are approximately 2 2/3 cups of chopped jalapenos in a pound. A cup of chopped jalapenos equals approximately 6 ounces.
if chopped small, about 3 cups
Fine chopped would be about 3.8 cups.
About 8 cups loosely packed
Depends on how you slice or cube it. Could be 2.2 cups fine chopped.
As they are "mixed" the answer could be anything between 2-5 cups.
That is approximately 2.3 cups
how do you measure 1 cup of pitted dates
A cup is equivalent to eight ounces. There are sixteen ounces in a pound, so there are two cups pecans in a pound.
1 pound hazelnut kernels = 3 1/4 cups 1 pound in-shell hazelnuts = 1 1/2 cups hazelnut kernels 1 cup hazelnut kernels = 1 1/8 cups coarsely chopped 1 cup hazelnut kernels = 1 1/4 cups, finely chopped 1 cup hazelnut kernels = 1 1/3 cups ground
For walnuts out of the shell here is the measurement by weight. 1 Cup of nuts equals 1/4 pound so if the recipe calls for 1 pound of chopped walnuts you will need 4 cups.
Depends on the nuts you use, but here is a list. Measured as no shell and whole. Almonds - 3 1/2 cups Peanuts (Legume) - 2 1/4 cups Pecans - 4 cups Walnuts - 4 cups I mostly learned this by research on the internet and then measuring it on my own. I hope this helps :)
