The formula to find amps is:

I = (KVA x 1000)/(E x 1.73)

I = (2500 x 1000) / (480 x 1.73)

I = 2500000 / 830.4

I = 3010.597A

35 kva = 35000 VA so

1.73 is the sqrt of pi and is the magic number when using 3 phase

35000/480/1.73=42 and some change

How many amps do you need to supply a 150kva transformer to get 118amps 480 volts?

Rephrase your question, as it doesn't make any sense. If the primary side of the transformer is 480 volts 3 phase, this transformer can be supplied from a breaker as big as 180 amps. If 480 volts 3 phase is your secondary then you can supply up to 180 amps to your loads.

What would full load amps be on a 480volt 90 kw electric heater be pulling 36 amps per leg?

90 kW on 480 volts single phase would be 187.5 amps. On 480 v 3-phase it would be 108 amps.

How many amps will a 50KVA 3phase bank carry on 277 - 480 volts?

50 kVA is 16.667 kVA per phase and you divide that by the phase voltage. Current = 16667 / 277 = 60 Amps

1500 kva transformer equals how many amps at 480 volts?

480 volts is probably 3-phase (Line to line) voltage, so: 1500K / (480 x 1.732) = I = 1804Amps

How many watts is 1 hp at 480volts?

A 1-HP motor is reckoned to draw 7 amps at 240 v single-phase. The same power of motor would draw 3.5 amps at 480 v single-phase, but a 480 v supply could most likely be a three-phase suppy, and the current in that case would be reckoned as 2 amps.

How do you calculate 3 phase power for a motor that draws 22 amps per leg it is a 480 3 phase motor do you use 480 x 22 or 277 x 22?

1.73*480*22

What amperage will a range with a rating of 12.9 kw draw?

This depends on what voltage the range is rated for and if it is single phase or three phase. At 220 volts single phase it is about 60 amps, 240 v single phase , 53 amps and at 480 v three phase about 15 amps.

480v 130kw how many amps?

Amps = Watts / Volts Amps = 130000 / 480 Amps = 270.83
