Do you mean the person Zelda or the games?
So far there are 15 Zelda games, and there is a new one in development.
Also, there are multiple characters named Zelda throughout the games because every princess in the royal family is named Zelda, so in each game you are just seeing a different one.

∙ 14y agoIt depends on what you mean. If you mean in the time line of the series, I can answer that. If you mean in time, it impossible to tell.
But Zelda is most of the time a different girl.
In OoT(MM) is the first Zelda. Lttp&MC&FS/FSA are the same Zelda. TP Zelda is the great grandmother of Zelda in WW&PH. Oracles don't really fit in well. Since the timeline is split, its very hard to determine.
ST is the granddaughter of WW/PH.
Basically, with both timelines together, its about 6 or 7 zeldas.
