it has taken me ten days to fit a head gasket for a vauxhall corsa. It was done friend of mine who understands about cars as he use to be a mechanic however he said that he would never do this job again. Think about it before you attempt to do it yourself and make sure you have the right tools, trench torch and a timing torch as these are essential for the job. In a garage it can be anything upto 2 weeks.
