This is not something that you would normally want to do, but if you want to totally destroy a car, that would usually happen by means of a high-speed collision. It might be better to drive it into a tree than to drive it into another car, since there is no need to total someone else's car along with your own. Driving off a cliff is also a good way, although there aren't always convenient cliffs around when you need them.
