Twitching is commonly known as a clear manifestation of stress. You may have someone/something that is stressing you out, and the most logical thing to do~get rid of the stress factor. You may be nervous about (for an example) a speech that you have to do in front of your fellow co-workers or boss, and twitching is just your body's physical reaction to the emotional trauma. Try and stay calm and get whatever you have to do done with and that is just one of the ways you can cope with stress. Another thing (not to potentially scare you!:( Is that some cases (like eye or muscle twitches) means you are mentally disabled. Oh, and there is another symptom that involves hand twitching and it's called Hypoglycemia which is a form of Diabetes.... OH! I probably shouldn't throw all these medical terms at you unless you are diagnosed by your doctor. Depending on how bad your twitching is, if it persists, I suggest consulting a doctor/physician. hey! i had twitching in my (left?) eye for a good long time. it returns every so often. i think it's due to nerve damage after accidentally inhaling copious amounts of evaporated paint thinner gases. not much u can do but chuckle at the frailness of the human body
