How do you shift a Massey Ferguson 481 from low range to high range or maybe unlock the differental which may be the problem?

Depends on the transmission, as there are 3 different types. Mine has an 8 speed syncro. There is a Hi-lo shift lever, very simple. If the differential lock is the problem, be prepared to unload your wallet. Mine went out a year ago and it was complicated and expensive to fix.
