Snug the rocker arms down to where they will just wiggle loose.Take a old towel and cover the whole row. Now this is the messy part (not if you do it wright). Start the car it is going to run rough but that's OK. Take your socket and loosen up one at a time till you hear a clatter then tighten down till the clatter is gone not to much listen for it. What you want to do is turn the rocker down 1 full turn. Do it with 1/4 turns, the motor might want to die but keep it running. Do this with ALL of the rockers.
