I'm guessing that you mean a half ton or 3/4 ton. You can take off the fuel filters and fill them up. Other than that it's a matter of cranking over the engine. 30 seconds at a time and a two minute rest to let the starter cool off. Normally the injectors will self bleed the air out but you can crack a few easy lines to get at on some injectors if it seems like it's been an unusually long time to get started.
This engine is an inline 6 cylinder diesel engine. It runs on Diesel.
One runs on diesel and the other on petrol. Click the link.
It means the engine cubic capacity is 3.5 litres and it is a compression ignition engine that runs on diesel fuel.
I am not an expert but my understanding is the electromotive configuration is better suited to locomotives. An internal combustion engine is used to run a generator or alternator and the electricity then runs the electric motors that drive the wheels. +++ The diesel engine IS used in small locomotives, usually with a hydraulic transmission. Larger locomotives use either electric or hydraulic drives but the prime mover is still a diesel engine.
a diesel engine only runs well when it is at operating temperature
It can and probably will
Diesel engine parts are pieces of equipment used to construct a motor that runs on diesel fuel. This should be relatively self-explanatory, given the phrase.
Diesel engine runs at a higher compression ratio than a gasoline engine. A typical diesel engine may also use a longer stroke and smaller bore than a gasoline engine. Diesel fuel has a higher energy density than gasoline.
A car runs on diesel or petrol depends on the engine of the car
Higher sulphur diesel will not harm the engine but it will to the enviroment. Actually CDI engine runs fine with Euro 2M diesel, however the exhaust filter must be cleaned or replaced after some period of time.
if it is an old diesel engine.. nothing an old diesel engine runs on sunflower oil or whatever else. but if it is a new engine it wil stuck. (srry 4 my bad English i am dutch)
The 2007 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class runs on diesel.
