When you pick the golden apple Zeus will appear. He will tell you that if you got him the five sacred items he would give you immortality. Zeus is in fact lying. This is just a plot to rule all of poptropica. When you do find all of the five sacred items you go back to Athena and she will tell you that Zeus is lying to you. You have to go to mount Olympus and defeat Zeus. Only then will you have immortality.
you cannot have immortality on any other islands on poptropica.
