If you want more tension, take the slack out of the starter rope until it just begins to resist. Then carefully and slowly pull it out about three inches, and clamp it there against the housing (locking pliers work well for that). Then, fish the knot out of the starter handle and untie it, slide the starter handle three inches up the rope (closer to the housing) re-tie the knot and cut off the excess. Hold the handle, and release the pliers. The handle will now return snug and tight to it's stop, rather than loose and flabby.

there is an adjustment tab or hook under neath and you just about have to lay flat on your back pull up the tension and have someone else tighten the bolts from above.
To adjust a mountain bike derailleur, start by shifting the chain to the smallest rear cog and loosening the cable tension. Then, adjust the high and low limit screws to align the derailleur with the smallest and largest cogs. Finally, fine-tune the cable tension to ensure smooth shifting.
Apply a wrench to the center bolt on the pully and turn it will adjust the tension.
you dont adjust a tension pulley you adjust the position of the compressor to tighten the belt
To adjust the tension on your bicycle pedal for a smooth and efficient riding experience, use a pedal wrench to tighten or loosen the pedal. Start by positioning the wrench on the pedal axle and turning it clockwise to increase tension or counterclockwise to decrease tension. Test the tension by riding the bike and adjusting as needed until it feels comfortable and efficient.
To adjust the front derailleur cable tension on a bicycle, start by shifting the chain onto the smallest chainring. Then, loosen the cable anchor bolt and adjust the tension using the barrel adjuster until the derailleur cage is aligned with the chainring. Finally, tighten the cable anchor bolt and test the shifting to ensure it is smooth and accurate.
To properly adjust the sewing machine tension discs for optimal stitching results, you should start by setting the tension dial to the recommended setting for the type of fabric you are using. Then, test the stitching on a scrap piece of fabric and adjust the tension discs slightly higher or lower until the stitches are even and balanced on both sides of the fabric. It may take some trial and error to find the perfect tension setting for your specific project.
To adjust the front derailleur on a bicycle, start by shifting the chain to the smallest chainring and loosen the cable tension. Then, adjust the height and angle of the derailleur so that it is parallel to the chainrings. Next, adjust the limit screws to ensure the chain shifts smoothly between chainrings. Finally, tighten the cable tension and test the shifting to make sure it is working properly.
