You replace the breaker.
I think you are asking how do you fix or replace one breaker on a double pole breaker? Most if not all double breakers have a connector on the switch so that they both trip at the same time. They are also joined together in the body of the breaker. You have to change both of them. If that's not your question, please explain further.
Maybe you have other electrical drains on that breaker line that cause it to exceed the 15 or 20 amp limit. Fix it.
If your thermostat doesn't have batteries, it may be hardwired into your HVAC system. Check the circuit breaker to ensure it hasn't tripped. If the circuit breaker is fine, there might be an issue with the wiring or the thermostat itself. Calling a professional HVAC technician would be the best course of action to diagnose and fix the problem.
If there is nothing else on the circuit the odds are it kicks off when the compressor starts. This is a motor and the starting current is higher running current. The breaker senses this surge and trips. Either the compressor is drawing more current because of a problem with shunt somewhere in the winding of the motor or the breaker is tripping because it has a problem that has essentially made it more sensitive to current and is tripping on a lower current than it is rated for. The cheapest fix is to replace the breaker. If you know what you are doing you coudl just switch breakers with an equally rated breaker in the electric panel. If you don't know what you are doing find someone who does. If this doesn't fix the problem it is likely a faulty compressor.
To avoid any short circuit in a house we suppose to have electrical panel with proper size of circuit breakers. These breakers installed to feed a number of circuits in the house which is controlled by the Electrical Code. The breaker ampacity is depend on the load size (light circuits, outlets, microwave, dryer, furnace, cenral vacuum). The individual circuits are calculated depend on the size of the load (like motors, transformers sucking a lot more power, current when they start) and this will be the base to figure out the proper wire size for feeding the circuit. When a short circuit occurs at the farthers point from the breaker this overcurrent device suppose to open up the circuit to avoid overheating ang fire.
This is a blown brake fuse check your break fuse and should fix it.
Check for a blown fuse.
Check for a blown fuse.
Check the fuses. If the brake light fuse blows it won't come out of park.

A person should replace the power roof fuse to help fix it, if it is stuck open. In the meantime,a Êperson can try to pull it shut with their hand or their tools.Ê

I dont exactly know what is wrong but mine is a '95 Cavalier Coupe and it says i have full tank of gas(all of the time) and i got some advice (not sure if its good) check your manuel and it may be a fuse or something with the wiring near your fuel tank underneath the car(should be an easy fix)
It's the heated rear windscreen fuse, which also turns out to be the fuse for the cigarette lighter, so all 3 won't work if it is the fuse. It's somewhere in the middle of the fuse line-up and I think it should be a green 30 amp fuse.
