1911 saw the British reverse the Partition of Bengal which they themselves had put into theory in 1905. This meant that there would no longer be an East Bengal in which Muslims would be in majority or gain economical or religious superiority. Instead, the reversal of the partition would once again lead to the reinstatement of Hindu dominance.

Due to this, the Indian-Muslims saw the British as people who did not care for other views of people. They came to realize that the British could not be relied upon.

Why can't Muslims be enrolled in British army?

This question assumes that Muslims cannot serve in the British army and that is false. Many muslims served in the British army in the past. They were even awarded Victoria Cross. There are currently 605 Muslims in the British armed forces and the number continues to grow. Please see the Related Link which is a news article discussing Britain's first Muslim military chaplain. There are some Muslims in Britain who argue that fellow Muslims should not enlist in the British military since Britain is currently engaged in wars in Islamic countries, but this is a disagreement between Muslims as a religious group, not between Muslims and the UK government.
