chould be a number of things for 1 its a ford and we all no what ford stands for lol:) IF you can't answer right - keep your mouth shut. Your problem most likely is a bad Thermostat.

Your probles lies in either the heater switch,to command the selinoid to shut down the valve for the hot coolent,or the selinoid its self.Some where along the line the valve that shuts down in the heater line,to stop the hot coolent from entering the heater core is not closing.May be the shut off valve it's self . As you say..Air is on ,and i still get hot air. so heater switch ,(from hot to cold),selonoid,shut off valve??

You will get some back pressure from the water heater. It will come out of either the hot or cold. Shut the tank off if there is a shut off there.

Yours might not have one. It's getting cold outside now. Why would you want to shut it off? Yours probably has a door that is used to control the hot air coming from the heater core.

MY FRIENDS CAR DID THAT SAME THING. CHECK YOUR COOLANT LEVEL ITS PROBABLY EMPTY. YOU MAY HAVE A SLOW LEAK SOME WHERE. WHEN YOUR CAR IS RUNNING IT PULLS THE COOLANT THROUGH THE MOTOR IF YOU ARE LOW ON COOLANT, BUT NOT EMPTY YOUR AIR COULD TURN COLD. THEN WHEN YOU SHUT OFF YOUR CAR IT BUILDS BACK UP IN THE RADIATOR, SO WHEN YOU START IT AGIAN IT WILL HAVE ENOUGH FOR A WHILE UNTIL IT PULLS THROUGH THE ENGINE AGIAN. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. the heater core has been flushed out. the antifreeze is full there is a new thermostat in it but it still does the same thing in the morning i have no heat at all. help please
Where is the cold water line on a hot water heater?
The two pipes going into the heater should be marked with either Hot and Cold or a H and C. There should be a shut off valve on the cold side, but sometimes there is one on both sides. If the piping is visible, you can follow one or the other to where it comes into the house. The water heater is usually the first thing the water line runs to.
