Where can you buy liability insurance for a personal chef business?

I am an insurance agent in the southeast and have been writing personal chefs for 7 years now. Whether you are new in business or have been in business for years, does not matter. I have worked closely with two major personal chef associations and would be happy to help you with that as well. I can provide same day quotes and binding. No money needs to be paid at binding. The company will send you a bill depending on the installment option that you choose. Is it legal to send a letter to someones place of business regarding a legal matter?

It depends on the situation and whether it's a personal matter or a matter that concerns that business. If you know their place of residence and it is a personal matter then that's where you should send the letter. Sending a letter to a person at their place of employment simply to cause them embarrassment or cause them problems at their job could get you in trouble yourself. It depends on the situation and whether it's a personal matter or a matter that concerns that business. Your car was in an accident in Florida It is registered in New York the insurance was in cancellation the car was not being driven by you and was totaled what is your recourse?

Your question is extremely confusing. Whose car is registered in New York? Whose car lacks insurance? Whose car caused the accident? Who was driving the car? All of that may or may not be relevant. In Florida the person who caused the accident is usually responsible for property damage whether or not he or she has car insurance. It does not matter where the car is registered. In Florida, people go after both the driver and registered owner. The driver caused the accident and the registered owner gave the driver permission to drive the vehicle. Collecting one cent is frequently a different matter.

Does a parent have to carry auto insurance on a 20 year old daughter who is a full time student living out of state year round?

It depends on whether she is driving a car registered to you, or to her. If she's driving a car registered to you or to the both of you, then you are responsible for the insurance as well. If she's driving a car that is registered to her without your name on the registration, then legally you are not required to carry insurance on her, as she is already over the age of 18. In this case, it does not matter whether she is a full time student or not, she is responsible for her own insurance.

How do you get insurance if you are the primary driver for a car registered in your parent's name in another state?

You should be able to get insurance on the car no matter who it is registered to. If the company asks paperwork all you should have to do is tell them its in your parents name. Everytime I've gotten insurance I don't think I've ever had anyone ask for more than the VIN number and a car inspection and money.

Can a person claim Lender-Placed Insurance on their home on their income tax?

If you are talking about PMI (Private Mortgage Insurance for those who put less than 20% down on their purchase), that should be deductible if the mortgage originated in 2007 or later. If you are talking about homeowner's insurance (fire, burglary, liability), that is never deductible for your personal residence no matter who placed it. If it is a business or investment property, it would be deductible like any other business/investment expense.
