No, but he'll usually have to give you some notification that your vehicle is being repossessed. By the time he comes to talk to you, it usually means he's already hooked to your vehicle, at which point, it's in his possession, and there really isn't anythiing you can do about it.

No, that is the job of the company that gave you the loan. The repo company can take your car the second they find it, but the real expense and trouble comes from the loan company you stole from. If you do not release the car you are in possession of stolen goods after a court judgment.

It may reopen the repossession case, but once you pay, item will be noted as paid which should improve your score. Plus, you will have that great job and the negatives on your credit will be resolved.
